Biography

Annie was the eldest child of Cornelius W. Cullen and Sarah (Shields) Thomas Cullen.

She was aged 5 in 1910, living in Dallas with her father, mother and younger brother Charlie Cullen.^[1]

Annie was aged 15 in 1920, living in the household of her half-brother Harry Thomas age 22 b Texas, her grandmother Anna Shields age 69 b Texas, and her brother Charles Cullen age 13 b Texas.^[2]

Annie Mae married Oliver B. Webb. They had a daughter, Ruth Juanita Webb, who was aged 16 in the 1940 Census; this places their marriage date about 1924. In 1940 Oliver, Annie Mae and Ruth Juanita were living in the District of Columbia, where Oliver Webb was an automobile painter for the Kaplan-Crawford auto dealership.^[3]

She died of congestive heart failure. Parents listed on the death certificate were Cornelius Cullen and Sallie E Shields. She was buried in Washington National Cemetery.^[4]
