Margret was baptised in Elmstone, Kent on 2nd February 1685.[1][2] Her parents were named as Stephen and Margret.
Margret died as an infant and was buried at All Saints, Stourmouth, Kent on 24th March 1685/6.[3] The register notes she was the daughter of Stephen and Margret Culmer of the parish of Elmstone.
The year of baptism is hard to read on the register: it looks like 1685 which should make it 1685/6 but her sister was baptised on 15th March 1686 (which is clearly correct as it is followed in the register by a baptism on 18th October 1686 so cannot represent 1686/7). As the calendar in 1686 looks like it doesn't follow the normal pattern I have adjusted the birth date on this profile to 1685 rather than 1685/6. It is possible however that she was a twin of Elizabeth but baptised earlier possibly because she was not expected to survive?
