Biography

Maggie Culpepper was enumerated as sister-in-law of the head of household in Ward 2, Jackson Parish, Louisiana for the June 14, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born November 1881 in Louisiana and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James F Wyatt, wife Francis E Wyatt and daughter Vera Wyatt.[1]

Maggie V Mcbrid was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Dayton, Eddy County, New Mexico for the April 18, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1882 in Louisiana and had been married seven years. She was the mother of three children of which all were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jessy D Mcbrid, daughter Mildred L Mcbrid, son Rupert B Mcbrid and son Jesse D Mcbrid.[2]

Maggie Mcbride was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 8th Street, Jonesboro, Jackson Parish, Louisiana for the January 6, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1882 in Louisiana and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head David J Mcbride, daughter Mildred Mcbride, son Rupert Mcbride, son Jesse D Mcbride and daughter Marjorie Mcbride.[3]

Maggie V Mcbride was enumerated as wife of the head of household in 335 North Locust Street, Morehouse Parish, Louisiana for the April 3, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1882 in Louisiana and married as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jesse D Mcbride, son Rupert B Mcbride, son Jesse D Mcbride Jr., daughter Marjorie Mcbride and daughter Virginia Mcbride.[4]

Margaret Culpepper was listed as the mother of Rupert B Mcbride who died May 10, 1975 in Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas. The father was listed as Jessie David Mcbride.[5]

Margaret Virginia "Maggie" Culpepper McBride is buried at Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro, Jackson Parish, Louisiana.[6]
