Biography

Wiliam Culpepper was enumerated at Houston County, Georgia for the October 22, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1834 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male William S Moore, female Emily Moore, male George Moore, male Charles Moore, female Sarah M Scarborough, male Charles S Culpepper, female Margarett Culpepper, female Martha Culpepper, male Joseph Culpepper and male James Culpepper.[1]

W W Culpeper was enumerated at Post Office Alpha, Ward #5, Laurel Hill, Caldwell Parish, Louisiana for the September 8, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as born 1835 in Georgia as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male C S Culpeper, female Nancey Culpeper, female Margarett Culpeper, female M E Culpeper, female Sarah A Culpeper, male James B Culpeper, female Elizabeth Culpeper, male Charles J Culpeper and female Laura Culpeper.[2]

William Wirt Culpepper is buried at Lower Old Athens Cemetery in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.[3]
