Shelly is a professional storyteller, born in Texas. She's also crazy about genealogy ... not the "begats," but the story. And, she is determined to find all the ancestors!

In some cultures, it is believed that humans die three deaths. The first is when the spirit leaves the body; the second is when the body is given back to the earth; the third, and final death, is the last time a person speaks their name. Shelly's hope, with these narratives, is to speak the names of her ancestors, that they might be remembered, and in that way “live” again.

Shelly is the 20th great granddaughter of King Edward III.
