The will of Moses Cummins was signed on the 15th day of September, 1803, in Garrard County, Kentucky, and named his children Daniel Cummins and Stephen Cummins executors, and also named them: Daniel Cummins, Elizabeth Ford, Moses Cummins, Stephen Cummins, Hannah Cummins, Cealah Cummins, Polly Cummins, Thomas Cummins and Daily Cummins. It was witnessed by Susannah Brady (her mark) and John Williams and Walton Williams, and Moses made his mark. "Daily" is probably Delia or Delilah, and Cealah probably Celia. Ceily Cummins married Elijah Adams on January 28, 1805 in Garrard County, Kentucky; and on the same date Hannah Cummins married Daniel Adams. It's not difficult to assume that two sisters married two brothers, as often happened in days when nearby families were few, and marriage partners scares.

Source Gene Singer: Moses & his son (Daniel) are listed in the DAR Patriot Index, Ref. #37, as a Virginia soldier during the American Revolution. In that reference Moses’ wife is listed as “Elizabeth _ _ _”
