Biography
Paul was born in 1903 in White Pine, Calhoun County, West Virginia. Early in life he was a traveling salesman. His whereabouts are unaccounted for in the 1930 census records, after last being recorded living at home in the 1920 census in Calhoun County, West Virginia. [1]
He had made his way to Hampshire County by 1933, where he married Jessie Lenore Deaver on 18 Nov 1933 in North River Mills, Hampshire County, West Virginia. [2] Paul suffered from alcoholism, and Jessie divorced him approximately 1952 and took the children. [3] Paul never remarried. He passed away in 1990 from complications due to his alcoholism.[4]
