William (Cunningham) Cunningham Thirteenth Earl Of Glencairn Jr. is a member of Clan Cunningham.
European Aristocracy
Maj Gen William Cunningham was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Maj. Gen. William Cuninghame, 13th Earl of Glencairn was the son of William Cuninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Henrietta Stewart. [1]

He married Elizabeth Maguire, daughter of Hugh Maguire, on 6 August 1744.

He died at Finlaystoun, Scotland, on 9 September 1775.

He held the office of Governor of Dumbarton Castle in 1734. He succeeded as the 13th Lord Kilmaurs on 14 March 1733/34. He succeeded as the 13th Earl of Glencairn on 14 March 1733/34. He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1747 in the 9th Foot. He gained the rank of Major-General in 1770.
