Barbara Buesch outlived her husband Henry, who passed away in 1844, by more than 30 years. In the 1850 U.S. Census for Buffalo, New York, Barbara is enumerated with her two youngest sons, George and Philipp. Beginning with the 1855 New York State Census and all censuses following, Barbara is living with her daughter, Elisabeth Baitinger and her family.
Catherina Barbara Buesch passed away in 1876 in Buffalo, Erie, New York. It is not known at this time where she is buried.
Last name is sometimes spelled Bisch in French records and Buesch in U.S. records.
