Biography
Elizabeth (Cupples) Ferguson was born in Scotland.
Elizabeth Ferguson Cupples was born on 28 May 1847 and was the second daughter of William John Cupples and Janet Simpson.[1]
Elizabeth was raised in Grangemouth where her father worked as a customs and excise officer.[2][3] After the death of her mother, Elizabeth remained with her widowed father until she married.[4] Elizabeth married William Ferguson, a widower, on 29 September 1882 and became stepmother to his three children.[5] Elizabeth would have two children of her own, George, born in 1885, and Jessie, born in 1892.[6]
Elizabeth Ferguson Cupples died, aged 60 years, on 19 April 1908.[7]
