James Curd was born in Hertfordshire, England.

James married Sarah Woodward on 28 December 1816 in Sarratt. [2] Their children included:

Mary Anne Curd, chr 16 Apr 1820 in Sarratt [4]
The census of 1851 shows that they were living in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The members of the family were: [5]
