James married Sarah Woodward on 28 December 1816 in Sarratt. ^[2] Their children included:

• Mary Anne Curd, chr 16 Apr 1820 in Sarratt ^[4]

The census of 1851 shows that they were living in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The members of the family were: ^[5]
