Colonial Wills of Henrico Co VA, Part 2, p.15: Will of Cuthbert Williamson presented Sept. Court 1743. John Williamson & Elizabeth Williamson were appointed exec. of Cuthbert Williamson dec'd whose will is not signed. John Maddox he was asked by Cuthbert to get John Price to write the will. When Price came he was afraid to go into the room because Cuthbert was sick with the flux. Will was written on directions and later read to him by John Williamson. John Price deposed that he wrote the will on instructions given by John Maddox. Will admitted to probate. Elizabeth, relict and widow, relinquished all benefit. Appraisors: Henry Stokes, John Watson, Matthew Hobson & John Mosby. [Apr Court 1743]

To Susanna Williamson, three Negroes, Joe, Lucy and Patt, to Mary Price, Jack Sarah and Chloe, To Cutbirt Williamson Two Negroes Moll and Mitilla, these two Negroes Equal worth the others (who had each of them one more) and Added fifteen pounds Left unprovided for the use of the Orphans, thirteen head of Cattle four houses, three Mares and a parcell of household goods.
