Biography
Hilda was the daughter of Charles and Ellen Amelia (Sutton) Curnow. She died at age 89 and was cremated on July 15, 1986, in Centennial Park Crematorium.[1]
Death Notice: "HUGHES, Hilda Irene. - On July 11 1986, at St. Andrews Hospital, Hilda, beloved wife of the late Otto (Bill). Loved mother of Ron and Jim. Fond mother-in-law of Joan and Jan. Loving grandmother of David, Geoffrey, Tom, Peter and Christina."
Funeral Notice: "HUGHES. - THE RELATIVES and FRIDENDS of the late Mrs. HILDA IRENE HUGHES, of Westbourne Park, are advised that her Funeral Service will be conducted on TUESDAY at 3 p.m. in St. Columba's Anglican Church, Cross Road, Hawthorn. Private cremation. Alfred James & Sons Pty Ltd, SAFDA, Unley, Prospect, Mile End ,Alberton, Morphett Vale. 2728555."[2]
