Widower John Thomas married spinster Elizabeth Curnow. daughter of Peter Curnow, both of the Parish, at St. Just-In-Penwith, Cornwall, England on 24 Jan 1818 by Banns. Witnesses Peter Curnow and John Tregear. [2][3]
Daughter Elizabeth was Baptised at St Just in Penwith, Cornwall on 28 November 1818. [4] John (Tinner) and Elizabeth lived at Bethorne.
She passed away in 1828, aged 45 and was buried at the St. Euny Churchyard. [5]

In Memory Of James Thomas who died on the 29th March 1853 aged 75 years. Also Elizabeth, his wife, who died on the 3rd Dec 1828 aged 45 years.
