Biography

John Curnow baptised 26 Sept 1802 St Ives. John and his brother Peter were both miners. Both married and John had 6 daughters. John married Sarah Noall (bap 20 Oct 1811) on 22 July 1828 at St Ives. Witnesses were Catherine Parsons and Thomas Williams. Sarah died in 1842. In 1841 John was a miner living at St Ives with Sarah 30 and their six daughters. In 1851 John 48 was a tin miner widower living at St Ives with daughters Sarah 23, Elizabeth 21, Mary 16 and Alice 14
