She married James Wallace in 1854. They settled in Malden, Mass., where their only child, a daughter named Carrie, was born 2 years later. James was an upholsterer and accountant, and served in the Civil War as a Corporal.
Abigail and James lived in Malden, and later neighboring Everett, throughout their lives. Abigail died in 1905. She is buried at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.[2]
