Judith Currier was born at Amesbury, Massachusetts on February 20, 1738/9, the daughter of William Currier and Judith Chase. [1][2]
She married David Hoyt Jr. at Amesbury on January 19, 1758. [1][2] Her husband David was born there on September 5, 1737 and baptized there October 16, 1737, the son of David Hoyt Sr. and Mary Quinby. [1][3]
David died before August 10, 1797 [3] when his widow was appointed administrator of his estate. His estate inventory taken on May 8, 1798, showed real estate holdings valued at $405.00 and a personal estate assessed at $278.71. [4]
David Hoyt Jr. , yeoman of Amesbury, wrote his will on December 10, 1796. In it he left bequests to: [4]
