Thomas Currier was born in 1757, the son of John Currier and Jemima Clough.[1]
On 26 Apr. 1781, Thomas married Ednah Bailey. probably in Hopkinton, NH. Ednah was born in Haverhill, MA in 1758, the daughter of Amos Bayley and Sarah Cottle. He had served as a Captain in the American Revolution and reportedly served again in the War of 1812. Thomas and Ednah settled at Hopkinton, NH for eight years, then Warner, NH for one year. In March of 1790 they settled on a farm by Sunapee Lake in the southern part of New London, NH. They had five children, all born in Hopkinton, NH:
Thomas was recorded on the New London, NH censuses in 1790, 1800, 1810 and 1820. He and his wife were almost certainly the 70 to 80 year old couple included in their son John’s household when the 1830 census was taken.
Thomas passed away in 1834, at age 76. He was buried in West Part Cemetery, New London, NH.[2]
