Jonathan[1] Edwards Currier was born in 1924. He is the son of Robert Currier and Nina Wiseman and the brother of Roberta, Elizabeth, Mildred, Wendell, Charles, and Dorothy. Jon married Edith Bezdicek. Their children were Jon, Nate, and Nina.
Jon was a ship's carpenter for the merchant marines. As a young man, he owned a jewelry store with his brother, Wendell, called Currier's Jewelry, in Oregon.
