Amelia Curry was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Curry. She was born in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, in 1817.
Amelia married Richard Roberts in 1834 and they moved to Key West in early 1840.
In the 1850 census Amelia (age 28) was in Monroe, Florida with her husband and four children.[1]

Amelia Curry Roberts died at 39 years of age in Key West, Florida. Her husband, Richard, moved with family to Manatee after her death. Amelia was mentioned on a memorial in Key West Cemetery, Key West, Monroe County, Florida with a death date of 26 Dec 1856.[2]
Research Notes
In the 1870 Census, her husband was living with his son-in-law Joseph S Barthum. Their two sons: Erasmus and George lived with him.
