The managers of her profile believe that Garner was her stepfather's name. I have no idea what is correct, but James Curry Jr. married Margaret "Peggy" Garner.
All sources indicate that his wife was Margaret Garner, not Margaret Curry....that was her married name. I believe that two women have been conflated.
