Howell Curry is part of a Bahamian family.

Howell Curry was probably born about 1837 in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas, based on the date and place of his marriage to Palmyra Lowe.[1] He was the son of Joseph Curry and Vienna Charlotte Adams.[1]

Howell Curry and Palmyra Lowe were married October 5, 1859 in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas.[1]

Howell Curry and Palmyra Lowe Curry gave birth to a male child (name not shown) on December 26, 1870 at Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas.[2]The child died the same day. The cause of death (shown on the image) was premature birth.[3]

A Howell Franklin Curry, son of Howell Curry, born about 1864 (age 50 in 1914) was married to Hilda Vinette Russell, daughter of Robert Russell, on April 14, 1914 at Nassau New Providence, Bahamas. Howell Curry was age 50, a widower, resident of Green Turtle Cay, Abaco. Hilda Russell was age 23, a spinster, resident of Nassau, N.P. They were married at the residence of Mr. Richard Russell in Naussau, N.P.[4]
The date of birth and residence of Howell Franklin Curry is consistent with him being the son of this Howell Curry.

Howell Curry died December 26, 1879, probably in Green Turtle Cay,Abaco,Bahamas. [1]
