Matthew Lowe, farmer and widower, married Mary Ann Curry, widow, on 27 Nov. 1869 in New Plymouth in the Parish of St. Peter. Both Matthew and Mary Ann resided in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, at the time of the marriage, Joshua Jordan, Wesleyan minister officiating. The wedding took place in the residence of Mr. John F. Pinder, who also signed the marriage license as a witness. The other witness was Benjamin Lowe.^[2]
