Biography

Lemuel was born in 1887, in Pennsylvania, according to the census, or Texas, according to family records.

Anna May Morgan married Lemuel Florence Patrick Curry in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri, according to family records. The couple was mentioned in the death of their unnamed infant son on 24 Mar 1917 in Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio, who was born (probably stillborn) at 6.5 months gestation.^[1]

By 1920, the couple and their infant son, Myron, were living in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.^[2] By 1930, they had moved to Dormont, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.^[3]

Lemuel was the credit manager of Carnegie Steel, Oil, Well Supply Company, President of Curry Steel Production Company, and Mayor of Independence, Missouri from 1962-1966, according to family records.

He passed away in 1977. Burial was in the Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.^[4]
