Russell Curtis was born on January 27, 1896 in Sandwich South Township, Essex, Ontario, Canada, son of Clemence Joseph Curtis (1859–1928) and Emily Taylor (1864–1948).[1]
Russell died in 1993, aged 96. He was buried in Saint Stephen's Anglican Church Cemetery, Oldcastle, Essex County, Ontario.[2]
