Biography
Jeremiah (Hans) Curtis was born in 1792 in Middle Creek, South Canaan, Wayne, Pennsylvania to Henry Curtis and Elizabeth Morilla Swingle. He married Catherine "Polly" Wagner in 1811 in South Canaan. Children: Rhoda, Aaron, Priscilla, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Moses, Rua (Ruey), Carolina, Angeline, Charlotte. After Catherine died in 1837, he married Elizabeth Laport about 1838 in Pennsylvania. Children: Charlotte, Solomon. He died on 11 Dec 1860 in South Canaan, Pennsylvania.
