Milton Harris Curtis was born 10 Jan 1855[1] in Estill County, Kentucky, United States.[1] He is the son of John Curtis and Sidney Lunsford.[1]

  • In 1860 Milton Curtis was living in Red River Iron Works, Estill County, Kentucky, United States with his family. He was 5 years old born in Kentucky. His father Jno Curtis was 68 born in Virginia, working as a farmer, had $1500 in real estate, 300 in personal estate and can read and write. His mother Sinda was 44 born in Kentucky and cannot read or write. The others in the home were children: Clendurd 22; Nancy 21; Mary 21; William 19; Elizabeth 17; Martha 15; Rachel 12; Mariah 11; Sarah 7; Amanda 1.[2]
  • In 1870 Milton Curtis was living in Red River Iron Works, Hardwicks Creek Precinct, Estill County, Kentucky, United States. He was 17 born in Kentucky. His father John Curtis was 78 born in Virginia, working as a farmer, had $3015 in real estate and $400 in personal estate. His wife Sidney was 55 born in Kentucky and cannot read or write. The others in the home were siblings: Amanda 13; Andrew 9.[3]
  • In 1880 H Milton Curtis was living in Camargo Precinct, Montgomery County, Kentucky, United States with her family. He was 25 born in Kentucky, working as a laborer. His wife Frances C was 21 born in Kentucky. The only other person in the home was child: Lulie Jane 1.[4]

He and his wife may have died young. In 1900 daughter Lula is married and son Martin is living as a boarder with another family.
