Births - South Hadley, Massachusetts: Tryphena 26 August 1762; Mary 7 March 1764; and Jacob 12 March 1766.

Born in Hanover, New Hampshire, USA on 8 Jan 1744 to Jonathan Curtis and Abigail Hovey. Abigail married David Eaton and had 2 children. She passed away on 1828 in Calais, Vermont, USA.

David Eaton Jr. (5) was born in Ashford, Connecticut August 4, 1738, removed to South Hadley, Mass, thence to Hanover, NH. He was sergeant during the Revolutionary war under General Jonathan Chase. The line of decent was continued through his union with his second wife, Abigail Curtis

“David Eaton of Hanover, NH wote in his family bible that his wife’s name was Abigail Curtis. [He] lived in nine different towns before comming to Hanover and was twice a widdower before marying Abigail Curtis...”
