Alfred Nathaniel Holden Curzon was born on 12 July 1831. He was the son of Reverend Hon. Alfred Curzon and Sophia Holden. Alfred was baptised on 21 July 1831 in Mugginton, Derbyshire, England.[1]
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England. He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford
He married Blanche Senhouse, daughter of Joseph Pocklington Senhouse, on 3 July 1856.
He succeeded to the titles of 4th Baron Scarsdale and 8th Baronet Curzon on 12 November 1856. He was a Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.
In the 1891 census Alfred (age 59) was the widowed head of household in Kedleston, Derbyshire, England.[2]
He died on 23 March 1916 at age 84.[3]
