Biography

Phylena (also spelled Phyleina, Philina and Phylina) J. Cushing was born on January 18, 1843, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Charles W. Cushing and Martha Crossman.^[1][2]

She married Barnawell Johnson Thompson on September 18, 1860, in Portland, Maine.^[3] They had a son who died in infancy.^[4]

She died on January 6, 1861.^[4]
