Sallie was the daughter of John Schrack and Sarah Harley (Landis) Custer. She married Benjamin Wessel Lare on November 26, 1881. She died in the Bernhardt Convalescent Home, Germantown Pike, East Norriton, on Christmas Day, she was 91. Surviving are these children: Joseph L. Lare, 25 Oak St.; Rachel L. wife of Leroy K. Frick, Norris City Ave.; Elnora wife of Walter Curll, 1212 Pine St.; Evelyn C. wife of W. L. Hallman of Trooper; Sarah C. wife of Ellwood W. Brown, 1226 Astor St.;Mrs. Mary L. Whartenby, 19 E.Brown St.; Titus Lare, 814 W. Airy St.; J. Wilmer Lare, Lancaster. Also Surviving are 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren Funeral will be held at the Dotts Funeral Home, Skippack.
