Rosetta was born about 1813 to Benjamin and Louisa Cuthbert. Firstly she was married to Charles Brightly in 1831. He was convicted on 17 May 1832 transported as a convict to Tasmania on 11 August 1832. “Charles Brightley, one of 200 convicts transported on the York, 11 August 1832” Convicted at London Gaol Delivery for a term of 7 years on 17 May 1832. Rosetta emigrated on the Vessel Named the David Scott on 30th October 1834. She passed away in New Zealand in 1866.
