Biography
Daniel Henry Victor was born in the Cape Colony on 18 December 1893; he was the son of Thomas George Cutter and Susan Elizabeth (Deetlijts) Cutter.
He was 21 years old when he married 25 year old Muriel Estcourt Rowles in Queenstown on 4 August 1915; details unclear.[1] The following children were born of this marriage:
- Jack Estcourt Cutter
- Ronald Victor Estcourt Cutter
- Douglas Estcourt Cutter
- Clifford Estcourt Cutter
- Neville Estcourt Cutter
- Muriel Estcourt (Cutter) Williams
- Thomas Estcourt Cutter
- Hazel Estcourt (Cutter) Campbell
Daniel was a 62 year old widower and SA Railways Pensioner resident at 54 Grey Street, Queenstown, Cape Province, when he passed away on 6 April 1962 in the Frontier Hospital in Queenstown. He suffered from throat cancer.[2][3]
