Biography

Cecilia was born in 1880. She was the daughter of George Cutting and Emily Arlott. She passed away in 1933

Early Years

In 1881 Cecilia was living with her parents and siblings in Ealing^[1]

In 1891 Cecilia was living with her parents and ten siblings in Ealing^[2]

On the day of the 1901 census Cecilia was visiting her married sister Clara in Camberwell. Her occupation is transcribed as 'Daryman's Daw Milk'^[3]

Marriage and Children

Joseph James Leo Skippage Richardson and Cecilia Cutting were married 16 April 1906. Joseph was a bachelor aged 25 living at 32 Laleward Road and working as a Hosier. His father was Joseph Richardson (deceased) previously a Victualler. Cecilia was a 26-year-old spinster living at Linden Villa Old Mew..... . Her father was George Cutting a retired Dairy Man.^[4]

Joseph and Cecilia had the following children together:

• Cecilia Emily Skippage Richardson born 15 May 1910 in Rochford, Essex baptised 3 August Southend on Sea.
• Audrey Rosina Richardson born January 1912 in Rochford, Essex
• Leo Richardson born 1915

In 1911 Joseph and Cecilia were living at 13 Hillcrest Road, Prittlewell, Southend on Sea with their 10-month-old daughter Cecilia. Joseph was working as a Hosier Shop Assistant^[5]

Joseph died aged 34 on 5 July and was buried 10th July 1915 in Ealing and Old Brentford Cemetery^[6]

In 1921 Cecelia was living at 139 Haliburton Road, St Margarets, Isleworth, Middlesex with her three children, her sister Violet and brother Arthur^[7]

Death

Cecilia Richardson died aged 52 in 1933. She was buried in Ealing and Old Brentford Cemetery (Ground. d Division, grave number 59.B. Interment number 2563) with her husband Joseph.^[8] Cecilia Richardson of 60 Brook Road Brentford, Middlesex, widow, died 3 August 1933 at the Brentford Hospital Brentford. Probate 1 February to Cecilia Emily Skippage Richardson and Audrey Rosina Richardson spinsters. ^[9]
