Gervais Cyr and Marie Judith Dufresne were married on 19 February 1770 in Longue-Pointe, Île-de-Montréal,Québec,Canada. They were the parents of Marie Cyr who was born on 7 December 1770 in Longue-Pointe, Montréal, Québec, Canada.
Jean Baptiste Degres dit Precourt, son of François Degre dit Précourt and Marie Anne Jared dite Beauregard, and Marie Sir, daughter of Gervais Sir and Judith Dufresne, were married on 24 October 1791 in Beloeil, Richelieu, Bas-Canada. [1]
Marie Cyr, widow of Precourt and of the age of about seventy-three years, passed away on 2 December 1843 in Beloeil, Richelieu, Canada-Est. [2]
