Biography
Marie was born 16 Apr 1834 and was baptized 2 Oct 1834 in Percé (St-Michel). She was the daughter of Pierre Cyre and Rose Grenier of Newport. Godparents were Felix Cyr and Monique Garnier, no signatures. [1]
On 21 Nov 1853, in Grande-Rivière (L'Assomption-de-Notre-Dame), François Grêley "illegitimate" adult son of Jean Grêley and Charlotte Vicaire married Marie Cyr adult daughter of the late Pierre Cyr and Rose Grenier. No signatures. [2]
Marie Cyr, 71 year old widow of François-Xavier Legresley, died 5 Dec 1906. She was buried 2 days later in Newport cemetery. [3]
