Biography
Therese was born about 1773 to Jean Baptiste Cote and Catherine Miville dite Deschenes. She married for the first time at age 33 to Joseph Marie Michaud, a widower with children, and they had at least 4 children of their own. He died when she was 40, and she remarried the next year to Germain Phocas dit Raimond, a man 15 years her junior. Her second husband died when she was 68, and she never remarried. Instead, it seems she lived with her son Remi and his family. Therese passed away in 1863 at 90 years old.
