Vincent, a farmer, is the eldest son of Jean-Baptiste Rioux and Reine Boucher. Julienne is the younger daughter of Joseph Côté, a laborer, and of the deceased Louise Levasseur. Among the witnesses are Vincent's father, Jean Baptiste Rioux, and Vincent's brother, Nicolas Rioux; also Joseph Côté, Julienne's father, and Gabriel Côté, her uncle. Those who signed were Paul Costé (Côté), Francois Rioux, Paul Rioux, and Jean Baptiste Rioux.
