Biography

John was born about 1893 in at Middlesmoor [1].

In 1911, John (18) was working for, and living with, his father, John William (54, farmer) together with his mother, Ann (56), sister, Elizabeth (20) and brother, Gilbert (15) [1]. His parents had been married 34 years and had ten, living, children by 1911.
