Biography

Stephen A. Daggett was an elder brother of my Gt. Gt. Grandfather, John L. Daggett. Uncle Stephen was involved in the political affairs of Schenectady, N. Y. He was the commissioner of Deeds appointed on the 10th day of February 1832 and was signed by E. T. Throop. I have a photo stat of the original that I obtained from the files located in the Schenectady County Historical Society.
