Biography

Son of Ethan Allen & Fannie (Heindrich) Daggett.

He entered the U.S. Army on July 5, 1833. In 1834 he was ordered to Fort Gibson, Arkansas Territory from which place he and his company proceeded against three tribes of Indians, with whom treaties were made. In 1835 he was at Fort Des Moines, Iowa Territory, and again proceeded to make Indian treaties. He was honorably discharged on July 5, 1836.
