Nils Dahlström was born 17 March 1754 in Bjällsta, Indal parish to Nils Dahlström and his wife Cherstin Olsdotter.[1]
Nils Dahlström (born 1754) and his wife Brita Nacksten with five children, Nils, the youngest, born in 1797, live for some time in Skillsåker in Tynderö parish, where son Nils was born[2]
There is a possible reason for their move to Tynderö in the fact that Nils' elder brother, Eric Dahlström, is chosen as the new sheriff for the crown (kronolänsman) in Tynderö after his father-in-law who died in 1795.[3]
Later we find Nils and Brita in Sundsvall town with several more children. According to the household record Nils died 2 February 1809. There are no preserved death records or birth records before 1888 because of a fire.[4]
It seems as if Nils was the only one born in Tynderö, so they did not live there for long. The old mother listed in the midst of the Dahlström children seems to belong to the previous family in this cottage.
