Ste. Luce remains in Frenchville, Maine--it isn't in Fort Kent, Maine.

Joseph Daigle and Susanne Martin lived on a farm that is now located in Fort Kent, Maine. They are my great-great-grandparents. I grew up on the very farm where Joseph settled after 1819. At the time of Octave Daigle's birth, Fort Kent did not exist. The only entity that did exist was Ste-Luce Parish. It covered a very large swath of land. On WikiTree, we are supposed to list the most historically accurate place name for the place of birth.
