Biography

Paul[1] was born around 1701 likely in Port-Royal (Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada).[2] His parents' farm was on the south bank of the Dauphin (Annapolis) River across the river from present day Bridgetown.[3] Sadly, his father died in 1709 when he was eight years old.

Paul married twice. His first wife was Anne Arsenau, daughter of Pierre Arsenau and Marie-Anne Boudrot. Their marriage took place on November 18 1720 at Beaubassin, Acadia (Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada).[4][1][5] Paul and Anne had three sons.[6]

His second marriage was to Anne Cormier, daughter of François Cormier and Marguerite LeBlanc, widow of Jacques Poirier, around 1727.[1]

Biographie
