Research Notes

Parents Jean Francois Daigle and Marie Marguerite Bouché had two daughters named Marie Marguerite, but only one record of baptism found which was dated 18 Mar 1752. This Marie Marguerite, who married Louis Biron, died in 1806 with a given age of forty-five years (estimated birth year of 1761). Her sister, Marie Marguerite Daigle, married Jacques Hamel and died in 1823 with a given age of sixty-six years (estimated birth year of 1757). While neither Marie Marguerite is a good fit for a 1752 birth, the wife of Jacques Hamel is being assigned this dob as her estimated birth year is closer. Burial records are often inaccurate, if new information is found profiles can be adjusted.

Daigle-Lallement-1 and Daigle-524 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Merge into Daigle-524, Daigle is on baptismal record.

Daigle-524 and Daigle-Lallement-1 do not represent the same person because: Same name, same parents but two different women. Different husbands and different dates of death. Conflation of profiles caused confusion.
