Luke Daigle was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Luke Daigle was the son of Charles Daigle & Marie Desroches. He was born about 1810[1] and was a farmer.

He married Amelia Pitre about 1834-1838 and had 2 sons; William who was born about 1836[2] and Charles who was born about 1839.[3]

His wife is thought to have died about 1861, but definitely before 1881, as he is living with his son and daughter in law[4] and is listed as widowed.

He died in 1894 and was listed as Luke "Deagle" in the burial record of St. Alexis Roman Catholic Saint Alexis Cemetery.[5]
