Port Angeles Evening News (Port Angeles, WA), 4 Sep 1967, page 15 - Bertha Elaine Burr - Former Port Angeles resident, Bertha Elaine Burr, 70, died Friday in Bellingham. Mrs Burr was born 8 Jan 1897, in Friday Harbor, WA; the daughter of Mr & Mrs Edward Dailey. The daughter of an early-day logger, she attended schools in Friday Harbor. She married Archie Burr in Wenatchee 25 Sep 1925 and resided in Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands. She came to Port Angeles in 1931 and lived there for several years. Her hobbies include gardening, flowers and baking pies. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Hohn Heilman of Port Angeles; a son, Theodore Burr of Sequim; two brothers, Ted Dailey of Port Angeles and Roy Dailey of Shelton; two sisters, Mrs Harold Ruud and Mrs Laura Wood both of Port Angeles, and nine grandchildren.
