Biography

When Martha Dale was born in 1809 in Russell, Virginia, her father, Arthur, was 42, and her mother, Judith, was 31.

She had one son and one daughter with John Smith between 1824 and 1848.

She died in 1849 in her hometown at the age of 40, and was buried in the Smith Family Cemetary in Cleveland, Virginia^[1].
