Con married bricklayer Harold Ernest Danes of Leybourne Kent England and they immigrated to the USA in 1921. On 18th January 1922, they went to Sarnia in Ontario Canada where they stayed with Con's cousin Mabel (daughter of Aaron Skinner) and her husband Arthur Shirley, for a while. Eighteen months later in July 1923, Con and Harold went back to the USA and made their home 2129 Queen Street, Dearborn, Wayne, Michigan, U.S.A.
