Biography
Margaret was born about 1850. [1] She was the daughter of Thomas Dale of Mabuoy, Lissan, County Londonderry. [2]
On 30 Jan 1879 at Oritor Presbyterian, she married James Sinnamon of Aghafad, Pomeroy, son of James Sinnamon, farmer. Witnessed by Robert Thomas Dale and Robert Reid. [2]
As of 1888 they lived in Gortnagarn, Pomeroy, County Tyrone. [3]
She passed away 17 August 1934 age 84. [4]
Research Notes
There was also a Thomas Dale of Ballymulderg Beg, however Mrs. James Sinnamon is clearly the daughter of Thomas Dale of Mabuoy:
- She lives at Mabuoy as of the marriage.
- The marriage witness is Robert Thomas Dale, son of Thomas Dale of Mabuoy.
- Thomas Dale of Mabuoy's will names daughter Margaret Cinnamond(sic)
- Thomas Dale of Mabuoy's wife's funeral was attended by James Sinnamon.
Not clear where James was for the 1901 census.
All of their children that I looked up in the civil registration were registered without a forename. So the records have to be matched up based on the names and ages in the census.
